The movements started by sir sayed Ahmad khan to adopt the western modren system,style,scientific education for Muslims population for British rule.
●The Aligarh movements is started by sir sayed Ahmad khan in (1817 - 1898 ) for social and educational advancement in the Muslims. For this purposes he want educationally society and culture to prove that the Muslims of sub continat that Muslims were loyal to British rule.
He want modernization in Muslims educationally societically culturally and intellectualy.
●What are main point of Aligarh movements:
The main role of Aligarh movements is to encourage the Muslims with British education and modern Acknowledge and the English language.
Because sayed Ahmad khan want to build trust among government and Muslims.
●Institutions : in 1859 sayed Ahmad khan established Gulshan school in muradabad.
In 1862 he found Victoria school in Ghazipur.
He found translation society in Gazipur in 1863 to translate many major works in field of science and modern Acknowledge arts to Urdu.
Latter on this society transfers to Aligarh and named it scientific society.
This society introduced the Aligarh Institut and Muhammedan school.
In 1875 Syed Ahmad khan and samiullah introduced the Muhammedan Anglo oriental
Collage.
Latter on in 1899 it change to university.
