The Senate of U.S. is upper house chamber of united states Congress and with the house of representatives being at lower chamber.
The Senate and house of representatives both combinly compose the national bicameral legislature of USA.
Found in 4 March 1789.
Have 100 senators , 2 from each state.
Elected by state legislature.
For 6 years terms by people of each state.
The Senate is deliberative assembly and upper house of bicameral legislature.
☆ Different between Senate of U.S. and house of representatives:
The Senators of USA represent their entire state/province.
But house of representatives represent the districts of each state.
Each state have minimum one representative in U.S. Congress.
