Syed Ahmad Barelvi or syed Ahmad Shaheed was born on 29 November 1786 Rae Bareli, Kingdom of Oudh and died on 6 May 1831 (aged 44) Balakot, Sikh Empire.
Syed was an India Islamic scholar and military commander from Raebareli,
He is considered as the scholer authority by
Ahl-i Hadith and Deobandi movements.
His ancestor migrated to the India early 13th century. He wrote the first book known as
Seerat-i-Sayyid Ahmad Shaheed.
His religion is Sunni Muslim and from Hanafi
Independent belongs to the Athari.
His main interests is Islamic fundamentalism, Anti-Shi'ism, Hadith, Jihad and known for Battle of Balakot because he take part in this Battle as commander.
His others name such as Amir al-Mu'minin, Shaheed-e-Balakot, Imam-ul- Mujahidin.
He received his primary education from hometown.
At the age of 18 traveled to the Lucknow in search of job.
After that he joined the militia of Amir Khan at the age of 25 in 1806 to 1811.
This was the era of military of Nawabs and governors to establish there power on territories.
At that time Syed Ahmad fought for his religion Islam and there roles.
Syed Ahmad fought many battles for Islamization as Jihad.
For spreading of Islamic law he was Arriving at the Peshawar valley in 1826 and made the basis at towns of Hund and zaida in swabi district.

Either become Muslims or paying jizha and remember that in case of war.
WHAT WAS THE BELIEF OF SYED AHMAD
The belief of syed Ahmad is to establish the Muslims state in Peshawar region but his dream didn't completed after his martyrdom
In balakot region in battle against Sikhs.
Basically he was the initiater of Jihad movement against Sikhs.
WHO LAUNCHED JIHAD MOVEMENTS
Syed Ahmad was one of who want to start the JIHAD MOVEMENTS against Sikhs to spread the Islamic law through out the world speacily Peshawar valley.
WAS THE WORK OF SYED AHMAD BARELVI THE MOST IMPORTANT
The work of syed Ahmad had been the very important for spreading Islamization because of many reasons.
He was greatly impressed from preaching of Sha waliULLAH.
So that why Syed Ahmad started the preaching of Islam truly.
WHO WAS BURIED IN BALAKOT
THE great scholar of Islam is buried in balakot is Syed Ahmad Barlevi his last resting place
In 19th century who fought against many tribals and Sikhs.
