And later his father becoming Chief Election Commissioner of Pakistan. Sajjad studied at the Army Burn Hall. After completing here study moving to Lahore where he studied law at the Punjab University.
After Punjab university received his Bachelor of Civil Law followed by a graduate degree in Jurisprudence from the Wadham College, Oxford in 1967.
After completing education he .
On return to Pakistan, He was admitted as a lawyer in Pakistan and joined law in Punjab.
POLITICAL ACTIVISM
Have best carrier in political economy of Pakistan. Two time served PRESIDENT OF PAKISTAN and 3rd Chireman of senate and interior minister of Pakistan.
When Nawaz Sharif is prime minister of Pakistan that time he elected that time the Acting PRESIDENT OF PAKISTAN one is 2 December 1997 up to 1 January 1998.
And 2nd time he elected that PRESIDENT OF PAKISTAN when Benazir Bhutto is prime minister of Pakistan on 18 July 1993 up to 14 November 1993.
During Nawaz Sharif sajjadsucceeded by Rafiq Tarar and produced by Farooq leghari.
And During Benazir Bhutto produce by Ghulam Ishaq Khan and again succeeded by Farooq leghari.
And 3rd Chireman of senate on 24 December 1988 up to 12 October 1999.

After it he served interior minister of Pakistan on 29 March 1987 up to 28 July 1987

After it he served Law and Justice Minister of Pakistan took office from

Thereafter he served as Leader of the Opposition from 2010 until 2012.
During retirement from politics he served the chancellor of National university.
In 2002, Sajjad was accused of mis-use of government vehicles and phones, amounting
to millions of rupees. He was ordered to pay a fine, but served no time in jail.
