Born in 4 February 1917 and died in 10 August  1980.

EARLY LIFE:

Agha Muhammad Yahya Khan was born in Chakwal, Punjab
and, British Indian Empire, on 4 February 1917.
He was Karlani Pashtun. He was a fluent speaker of Punjabi
and Persian as well.
Agha Muhammad Yahya Khan commonly known as Yahya Khan, was a Pakistani
general and  who served as 3rd  President of Pakistan from 25 March 1969 until December
1971.
 
IN CAREER BEFORE PAKISTAN INDEPENDENCE

Yahya Khan was commissioned into the British Indian Army from Indian Military
Academy, which is in Dehradun in 1938. An infantry officer.
(4th Battalion of 10th Baluch Regiment, later amalgamated with the modern and current
form of Balooch.

PRESIDENT OF PAKISTAN

During his era, He ordered for Operation Searchlight  to suppress
Bengali nationalism which lead to the Bangladesh Liberation War after 1970 election.
And in this liberation war  resulted in death of 500,000–3,000,000 Bangladeshis.
This war start due to political issue.
This liberation war lead to separation of East Pakistan from wast Pakistan in 1971.
He is hard drinking solider and like young woman company and win.

MILITARY ACTIONS

Also participated in the world war II with British army.
He also failed in 1965 war against india.
He didn't order and delay in changing the command until Indians army cross international border and enter to Lahore.



LAST DAYS OF EAST PAKISTAN

1970 election:

In 28 July 1969, 3rd President Yahya Khan had set a framework for elections that were to be
held in December 1970. Finally, the general elections were held all over the country.
In East Pakistan, the Awami League party led by Mujibur Rahman, and held almost all seats but no win 
seat in any of four provinces of West Pakistan. The socialist Pakistan Peoples Party
(PPP) had won the exclusive mandate in the four provinces of Pakistan but no one win any seats in East
Pakistan. The Pakistan Muslim League (PML), led by Nurul Amin, was the only party to
have representation from all over the country, but he didn't win any more seats had failed to gain the mandate to run
the government. The Awami League had 160 seats, all won from East Pakistan, the
socialist PPP 81, and the  PML 10 in the National Assembly. The general
elections's results truly reflected the ugly political reality:
And the division of the Pakistan 
Due to political issue  country divide between East
Pakistan and West Pakistan.
This politics cause disturbance in East and wast Pakistan and goes toward search light operation in Bangladesh to control situations.
And at last in 1971 Indians army meet with East army to defend wast army and start 1971 war and win by Indian army.
